SARAH STOUT HENDRICKS

Waynetown, June 4 --Mrs. Sarah Eleanor Hendricks, 86, resident of this place for the last forty-five years, expired at her home here Sunday night at 7 o'clock as a result of complications. Mrs. Hendricks had been seriously ill one week. The deceased was born in Martinsville, Ind., January 14, 1842, the daughter of William and Julia Rusk Stout. She was married November 9, 1859, to Silas K. Hendricks and lived in Martinsville during her early life and for six years after her marriage. She moved to near Wingate for a time and for the past forty-five years has lived in Waynetown. Mr. Hendricks died in 1911. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. C. C. Westfall, of Indianapolis; one grandson; Hendricks Westfall, of Indianapolis; one great grandson and one great-great granddaughter. Deceased was a member of the local Baptist Church and was an active worker in the church circles all of her life. She also took an active interest in community affairs. Funeral services will be held from the Waynetown Christian church at 1:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon with Rev. Cletis Brown in charge. Burial will be made at Masonic Cemetery. - contributed
